Last week, St James’ Catholic High School, Stockport, and West Derby School, Liverpool, were surprised with a visit from Manchester City and England player Georgia Stanway. Both schools had been crowned PlayStation F.C. Schools’ Cup Next Level Player Team of the Month in January and February.

WEST DERBY SCHOOL, JANUARY’S NEXY LEVEL PLAYER TEAM OF THE MONTH

Georgia surprised the boys Under 13’s team during penalty shoot out practise. Georgia shared penalty tips and joined in to take a few against the schools top stopper. The team also took part in a training session with Georgia before capturing some official team photographs to mark the occasion!

ST JAMES’ CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL, FEBRUARY’S NEXT LEVEL PLAYER TEAM OF THE MONTH

Georgia surprised the Under 12 girls team while they were posing for their team photo ahead of team practise. Georgia joined the girls practising their ball skills in drills and small sided games within the training session. Once they were all warmed up Georgia officiated a very competitive noughts and crosses challenge (with press ups issued to the the runners up).

Finally Georgia took the competition onto the PlayStation and went head to head with Lily on FIFA 20 as the team asked the England star for top tips for the rest of the PlayStation F.C Schools’ Cup tournament.
